The Relics are an exciting up and coming rock band from the Metro-Atlanta area. They were formed in the summer of 2017 and have had no trouble staying busy since their formation. Some notable highlights from the bands brief history include: releasing their debut single "Baby Blue" in September of 2017, playing in a Tom Petty tribute (November 2017), placing first in the first round of the MadLife Stage and Studios Battle of the Bands, playing in the MadLife Battle of the Bands Finals, and playing at some of Atlanta's most renown venues
The band members include: Joseph Pieper (Vocals, Guitar, sometimes Bass) Evan Borgese (Vocals, Bass, sometimes Guitar) Mitch Pew (Lead guitar), and Greg Washington (drums).
The band is currently recording their debut album.
The Relics music comes from a variety of influences throughout the 60s, 70s, 90s, and early 2000s. In the spirit of their classic rock influences their music is very melodic and up beat.
Some of the Relics major influences include greats of the past like The Beatles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, and Bob Dylan. In addition to more current bands like Jet and Green Day. These various influences of both old and new are what give the Relics their unique sound.
